Short-term Mobilities
Short-term Doctoral Mobility
To better meet the diverse learning and training needs of doctoral candidates, doctoral students can undertake short-term physical study or traineeship mobility periods abroad lasting between 5 and 30 days. Adding a virtual component to the physical mobility is encouraged.
The base amounts of individual support (both for study and traineeship) are set as follows:
- 1st to 14th day of the physical activity 70 EUR/day
- 15th to 30th day of the physical activity 50 EUR/day
Blended Intensive Programmes – BIP
Blended intensive programmes use innovative ways of learning and teaching and combine physical mobility with a compulsory virtual part, where the physical mobility must last between 5 days and 30 days. Intensive programmes bring together groups of 15 to 20 students from at least 3 different programme countries. Activities include for example team projects, field trips and research, art projects.
Blended intensive programmes have to award at least 3 ECTS credits for students. The intensive programme should have added value compared to existing courses offered by participating institutions.
Participating students are selected by the faculty in a special call for each intensive programme.
The base amounts of individual support are set as follows:
- 1st to 14th day of the physical activity 70 EUR/day
- 15th to 30th day of the physical activity 50 EUR/day
Short-term Blended Mobility
Students who are not able to participate in long-term physical study or traineeship mobility (for example working students or professional athletes), will be able to carry out a short-term physical mobility by combining it with a compulsory virtual component. Interested students need to consult the possibility to carry out this mobility during selection calls for standard study and traineeship mobility.
