About Us

International Cooperation is a central international division of Palacký University Olomouc (UP), which further consists of individual offices, i.e. Office for Partnerships, Office for Mobility, and Welcome Office.

Within this framework,Internationalisation Division provides information and pieces of instruction related to partnerships, to the study and traineeship mobility, to funding options for students and staff alike, to degree studies in foreign languages and to many other related areas. Office for Mobility is the key central coordinator for the Erasmus+ programme, which provides information about exchange programmes within the European Union, UP interuniversity collaboration and other national, international and global programmes as well. It also supports Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships and Capacity Building projects, where UP has been coordinating multiple significant European consortia within the scope of Erasmus+ KA2 projects.

In the field of internationalisation, Palacký University Olomouc was awarded with significant and prestigious awards and prizes. In 2021, these were the national (DZS) awards for Erasmus + Committee Work and Preparation; Erasmus + Higher Education; Central European Exchange Program for University Studies and the DZS Category of Individuals. In 2020, UP was awarded the largest Erasmus + KA107 grant in the Czech Republic, the Aurora European University Alliance project was selected as one of the 6 best projects nominated for the STUDY IN Award for Work in the Field of Internationalisation and the Aurora Alliance (UP is a member) was awarded the European University Alliance grant. Finally, in 2019, the University was awarded with the prestigious 2019 EAIE Award for Excellence in Internationalisation, the 2019 Czech National Quality Prize for Social Responsibility and more awards.
